I had to share these pictures I just got in of a set of bar stools and a coffee table we are doing for a project. I can't wait to see them installed! Enjoy.....

Here is a quick update on one of our current projects. Above are the fabrics for the living room as you can see its a whole black and white scheme happening here. I'm so excited for it because its a real departure from a lot of what we have done recently. The floors are going to be painted a white lacquer and there will be huge floor to ceiling bookshelves. The carpet is the black sisal. The stripe is going on the windows. The white linen is going on the sofa, which unfortunately I don't have a picture of yet. The grey Rogers and Goffigon wool is going on the pair of chairs below and the grey and white marble looking print is going on the bench. I think we are going to do some poufs or maybe make a throw out of the white yeti! Check back for more updates soon!

This is the coffee table that we are having made except it will be done in a pale gray oak

The most exciting part of this job is definitely seeing a finished project. So many of our projects have been completed and photographed lately that I can hardly keep up with the updates. Here's one we've been working on that turned out beautifully!!

This coffee table was custom designed by Carolina George!

Check out our Collector's Coffee Table in action

The wall is covered in our Harem fabric in orange on light blue.

I love this Lindsey Adelman chandelier.

A lot of you saw our Valentine's post where we featured the sofa from this custom bedroom we designed. Now you have a chance to see the room in its entirety. We are calling this a custom bedroom because we custom designed three pieces of furniture in this room: the sofa, the bed (complete with flat screen TV) and the shagreen side table. Enjoy!

I am so excited about Georgia's idea for our new project downtown-an antiqued mirrored backsplash for the kitchen walls. Check out these great examples of antique mirrored backsplashes in the kitchen.

We've been busy little bees around here lately. However, we all stopped collectively to take a look at the results from a project photo shoot. Here's a sneak peak. Photos from this project will be posted in the next few days so keep checking in to see more!

We are starting to source materials for a new project, so last week I began scoping things out and came across these mirrored tiles. I love them and think they would be really pretty as the backsplash in a kitchen. They offered about ten different varieties, here were the three I liked best. Apparently they are quite durable so are suitable for a kitchen that gets some wear and tear. What do you think?

Yesterday Caroline was nostalgic for Paris. Hopefully todays project update will be a small antidote. Our client has chosen these high back lounge chairs by french design duo Guillerme & Chambron. Placed in the living room, the architectural back of these chairs will create a nice separation of space from the dining area. These vintage chairs from the 50s are beautiful and I can't wait until our client settles on a fabric.

This morning I went by one of our project sites in SoHo. Along with taking measurements, I took some pictures of the place. Over the last couple of weeks we've blogged a few times about our ideas for this project. Now you can see the space. It is full of quirks and character that make it a challenging project as well as an exciting one. We are working with architect Jim Dixon to make some structural changes like widening the staircase and adding some walls in the master bedroom.

We are currently working out the details for built-in wall unit and I have been inspired by the iconic Cartier Love Bracelet. I have always loved the screw detail and thought it would be fun to somehow incorporate that into the design for the millwork. We have not quite figured out the exact details but I thought I would share some of the drawings with you. The screw that is seen in the bracelet is called a slotted flat head and you can find them at any local hardware store.

Above: Cartier Love Bracelet in Gold and Brass Slotted Flat Head Screw from local hardware store

We are playing around with design ideas and I think I am leaning towards doing the bottom version with the screws at the corners and adding a couple of picture lights (like the one below) at the top of the built-in. If we were to do the top version we would do puck lighting so as to avoid the design from becoming too busy.

We just started work on a new project and love the direction it is going! This is what has been selected for the dining room. For those of you with good memories you will remember I have been drooling over this plaster chandelier for awhile now, the chandelier will hang above this black stone table and the dining chairs are being made by Charles Hollis Jones. We still have to pick a fabric for the seats, I'm thinking maybe a white or black pony hair, fun right? Can't wait to share pictures of the project when it complete this spring!

One of my favorite projects last year was the redesign of a master bedroom in Florida. Below is a sneak peak of a custom sofa we designed. I was inspired by art deco and couldn't find the perfect antique so we came up with this. The rug is also custom and was such a brave choice on the part of the client! I just love it! The coffee table is from Bernd. Goekler

The room is completely upholstered in a light pink linen. I promise to post better pictures. We are photographing the room in the next month so stayed tuned and have a great weekend!

Our new project is progressing nicely. We had a meeting with our client yesterday and it it looking likely that we'll be using these Charles Hollis Jones Lucite Tub Chairs as our dining chairs. I think they are gorgeous and can't wait to see them in person.

Carolina George is no stranger to Charles Hollis Jones. We've used his pieces in several of our projects before, including Georgia's apartment. However, we've never been quite as extreme as this Lucite wonderland!

It is always satisfying to see a project come together. A Florida home we've been working on is close to completion. Here are some shots of the living room that Caroline got on her recent trip to the site. Notice the Collector's Coffee table in the first photo and another custom coffee table we created in the others! Enjoy!

Exciting things are happening in our office as we enter the holiday season. A Tribeca townhouse that we've been working on for a while is coming along nicely. We just got images of some chairs we created for the project. This red leather desk chair turned out to be quite a handsome addition!

Here's a completed sleek lucite, leather and metal dining chair for the same project.

We are working like crazy to get a big install done before the holidays and I'm just loving seeing all the completed pieces we have designed for the job. Above is the bed for the master bedroom. It is upholstered in a Holland and Sherry silk wool. I'm crazy for this bed, it is a sort of modern take on a traditional sleigh bed. The bedroom walls will be upholstered in a cream linen fabric and we have beautiful silvery white carpet going in the room. I can't wait to see it all come together!

This is a headboard for one of the guest rooms. I have been in love with this Raoul Textiles fabric since the minute I laid eyes on it. The walls will be a pale green and we have a beautiful antiqued brass light fixture and white lacquered side tables going in this room.
Below is a one of a pair of chairs we designed for the living room. We got really into the fully upholstered look as you can see. This is based on a chair I saw in Milan last summer. The rest of the room is very simple, large cream sofas and white venetian plaster on the walls. We introduced this Vanderhurd fabric for a little action!

The countdown is officially on, I'm only a few weeks away from my due date and the nursery is finally done so I thought I would show you how it turned out. I pretty much stuck with my original plan, I just changed the crib and decided against a white flokati rug. I had visions of myself on hands and knees cleaning that thing for years to come. Instead I went with a very reasonably priced West Elm grey and white carpet that is actually quite soft!

The room used to be my husbands office so for the time being we left all the art in there. Once he gets a new office I have a feeling he is going to want it back! I'm thrilled with how the day bed turned out. I used our Carolina George Grey and White "Embroidery" Fabric and a Charcoal linen. The grey throw pillows are West Elm, only $19!! And I had the green velvet ones I had made. Once the baby is born and I know the sex maybe I'll add a few more pillows in other colors.

I had the dresser made, it doubles as a changing table and gives me tons of storage space! Once the baby is older I can get rid of the changing tray and still have a cute dresser.

The Animal Heads are from West Elm and the Crib is from Dwell Studio

A while back we showed you the below scheme for a bedroom that we presented to a client. Now its time for an update!

Everything is just starting to come together but I thought I would share our progress with you!

Aren't these bedside tables gorgeous?!?!
