I have finally started to narrow down my selections for the nursery. We know we are having a girl but I have never been a super frilly person or particularly drawn to anything pink and precious. I have been trying to decide between two color combos, burgundy and light blue, or gold and periwinkle. What I like about both of these choices is that they can be a bit gender neutral if we end up having a boy next. A few changes will need to be made but nothing is so feminine that it just won't work. The scheme below shows Red and Blue which can often go nautical or patriotic but not if you use a lighter shade of blue with a deep red or burgundy.

The crib and glider we already purchased through Giggle. I am waiting to see how the chair goes with the room before I decide if I want to recover it. The dresser is from Wisteria and we will use this as the changing table. I like that you can purchase a changing table topper and then when you outgrow the changing table you still have a beautiful dresser in the room. The rug and the sheepskin throw are from Pottery Barn. The daybed is from Ballard and the pillows and windows are going to be in custom colored version of our Fleur print. I can't wait to see the whole room come together!
