I'm heading to NYC at the beginning of November and one of the things I'm most excited about is checking out the new shop Creel and Gow that just opened on 70th and Lexington.  Jamie Creel's apartment in Paris was published a few years ago in Elle Decor and it is one of my all time favorites that I constantly reference.  So I know his new shop will not disappoint! From the pictures and descriptions I have read it sounds a bit like Deyrolle, the taxidermy treasure trove, in Paris.  Deyrolle is one my favorite shops and is always one of the first places I visit when I get to Paris. Creel described his shop as a "cabinet of curiosities" that sells "beautiful things from nature".  Hope everyone stops by soon!! 

I just love the way everything is displayed, it doesn't feel overly crowded 

I saw this piece in Deyrolle last year and think about it constantly, maybe now that I can get it in NYC it can be mine!! Hint Hint my birthday is just around the corner.
