BLOG - Finishes

Lately I've been attending a lot of yoga classes. I don't know whether it's the self reflection.. or perhaps I'm just turning into Narcissus but I'm really getting in to mirrored surfaces. They can make something seem a little more glamorous or create mystery and an intriguing sense of imbalance.

I just returned from an amazing two weeks in Turkey. Turkey and in particular Istanbul is by far and away one of my favorite places.  There was inspiration to be found at every corner.  One of my best finds from the trip was an amazing Ikat source.  My husband I purchased a variety of silk velvet ikats for our new home as well as the more traditional weave shown below. I just love this fabric and it turned out to be our source of inspiration for our new range of finishes that will be unveiled at High Point in October.  In addition to our existing colors and finishes, we will be offering our casegoods in the blue, yellow, green, and pink shown below. Our upholstered pieces will be available in the ikat as well as the antique gold velvet.
